Health through mobility and strength
Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.
It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.
To an osteopath, for your body to work well, its structure must also work well. So osteopaths work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery.
Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms.
The Osteopath may also provide you advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
Clinical Pilates adds that additional element of clinical knowledge to all the Pilates exercises.
It's a form of physical exercise that focuses on posture, core stability, strength, balance, control, flexibility and breathing. Clinical Pilates works to improve the dynamic stability of the spine, which in turn transfers functional strength through to your limbs, as well as improving your posture.
Our Clinical Pilates sessions are based in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) concept, which is the most advanced system for functional rehab from Prague Rehabilitation School.
These sessions combining manual therapy & specific exercises, divided into various degrees of difficulty and individualized for each case. They not only work for rehabilitation of injuries, they also serve to improve the quality of movement, posture and consequently promote joint health and longevity.
Is it for me?
These sessions are for everyone, whether you are rehabilitating an injury or interested in improving your mobility/flexibility, your posture and the way you look, feel and move.
Will also benefit those who have never exercised before as well as those who always have and always will, or the athletes who wish to optimize their sporting performance.
Personal Training sessions based on functional range conditioning concept.
The goals of this sessions are mobility/flexibility development, joint strengthening for articular health, injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement.
This will lead you to a reduction of pain and injury, joint health and longevity, ability to move freely and easily and improve your sport performance.
We give you constant support between each work session.
One of the greatest satisfactions of my work is the impact I am able to make on others
